Artist Statement
I am lpresently working on a project called "natura ex machina" where I create sculptures made of taxidermized animals and computer internal parts. The works are intended to stimulate the viewer to think about the creation and manipulation of Life by Man and the
implications of Man playing God.
My paintings can be viewed as a personal tribute to Impressionism. I work with various elements to form a figure: small computer parts and electronic elements, dried insects and
other. I use the electronic parts in original colors just as they were paint. The overall idea is to use small elements that have a definite meaning to form a bigger object, with a completely different meaning. As well as provoking the viewer, the use of unusual mediums is the main conveyor of my work.
